Jaden’s Story
When Jaden was 16 he received news that left him devastated and overwhelmed with fear. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
After a 17 hour surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital and God guiding the top surgeons in the country, I was told the tumor had completely been removed. Little did I know that would be the last time I would have my sense of smell due to the surgery. However, this battle taught me invaluable lessons about strength, hope, and cherishing every moment.
Through these experiences, I have learned that resilience is not just about bouncing back from hardships but also about finding strength within oneself to face the unknown. I am grateful for the lessons learned and the person I have become as a result of these trials.
My journey has taught me that no matter how difficult life may seem, there is always hope and strength within us to overcome any obstacle that comes our way.
Jaden is a 2024 graduate of Burton High School and has not yet decided on a major at this point but he has a passion for Theatre Arts and is looking to focus on that for now at Blinn.
Jaden has always had a kind huge heart for helping others and giving before ever thinking about receiving. Jaden has a deep love and compassion for animals especially his dog Zilla. Jaden has a special bond with his brother Korbin and sister Emery who mean the world to him and he would do anything in the world to make them happy.
